Melissa Hubiak, MD, is a graduate of the UC Davis School of Medicine and completed her residency at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center. Dr. Hubiak has always had a passion for art and aesthetics and has been active in the field since 2008. As an avid photographer with years of experience in the arts, you are being treated not only by a physician, but also an artist. Dr. Hubiak believes in beautiful natural enhancements and working with her patients to help achieve the desired outcome. Dr. Hubiak continues to seek out new advances in aesthetic medicine and is excited to share her knowledge of the industry to help you achieve a younger, fresher look.
Nicole is a board-certified physician assistant (PA) with a passion for aesthetic medicine. She specializes in enhancing clients' natural beauty with Botox/Dysport, addressing volume loss and facial balancing with hyaluronic filler, and rejuvenating their skin with medical-grade skincare and resurfacing treatments.
She has experience in numerous aesthetic medical procedures, plastic surgery, and ER medicine. Nicole loves making her clients feel naturally beautiful and love the skin they’re in. She’s obsessed with skincare and one of her favorite treatments is lip filler so make sure you ask her about it!

What is your zodiac sign and do you feel it represents you? I’m a Capricorn through and through. I’m a self-motivated individual; if I want to achieve something, I go for it! Caps are earth signs and I’m down to earth, I love getting to know others. And I’m loyal! I cherish the relationships I have with everyone and I can be your best friend.

What's one hobby or interest you have that might surprise people? I’m crafty! I love using my Cricut Machine to make party decor or custom apparel!

I started working as a nurse in 2019, right before covid! I did bedside nursing for about a year before taking my first aesthetics job working with lasers for mostly hair removal. I dove straight in working full time in aesthetics! I started with Dr. Hubiak and the SkinScience team in 2022, where my passion and skills have exponentially grown! Prior to becoming a nurse, I worked in the wine world where I cultivated my ability to work with people!
Traditional nursing can be rewarding, but the reward is very different when you’re working with someone’s self-esteem. I was a competitive gymnast and collegiate cheerleader growing up and self-esteem can be challenging while under so much scrutiny from others. When I can help someone feel more confident in something that makes them feel less, it brings me SO much joy! I also love that aesthetics is constantly changing and evolving. It requires a lot of continued education, which if you know me you know I love 😉.
If I could have any treatment, it would be a light and bright! Don’t get me wrong, I couldn’t live without my fillers and neuromodulators, but I love a good light and bright.
My favorite treatments to do are patient dependent, but I love doing filler because it's instant gratification!
I am on the cusp of Aquarius and Pisces. I absolutely think they represent me! I’m loyal, I love helping others, full of empathy, creative, a little sassy, and very intuitive!
I have chocolate labrador retrievers, Rebel and Roo. Rebel is my soul animal, she’s 11 and perfect in every way. Roo is my wild one! She 2 and a half. They’ve both been part of my world since they were 8 weeks old! I also have my #1 man, Dash. He’s an 18-year-old grey tabby that has been through it all with me!
Best advice I ever received is to slow down, be patient with myself, and allow for great things to happen.
I like to start my day with working out! I try to get up around 5:30 am to get a solid sweat session in before work so my mind is awake and ready to go!

If you could have any treatment what would it be? The treatment I am the most consistent with is neuromodulators (Dysport/Botox/Daxxify), but if I could choose anything right now it would be Sculptra or a Virtue RF treatment.

Do you have any pets? Cholula Mae or Lula for short is my 13 year old little old lady who is always by my side. Indy is 12 years old and retired 2 years ago from the SSF Police Department and has become a glutton in his retirement. We have 3 cats: Nooshy, Dale, and Brennan.
What's one hobby or interest you have that might surprise people? Possibly not one hobby that would surprise people, but the fact that I seem to dabble in a little bit of everything. I like to try things out.
What's the best piece of advice you've ever received? Don’t take criticism from someone you wouldn’t take advice from.
How do you like to start your day? I like to workout early in the day and then have a caffeinated beverage.
Ianitza is a very experienced esthetician with over 13 years in the field! She says she could work and talk about skin care every day and never get bored! She loves esthetics and her enthusiasm definitely shows in her work. Her favorite part about facials is seeing the transformation in her clients skin over time. Why did you choose aesthetics? I think people often forget about themselves, and the importance of self-care. Esthetics is a field that is constantly changing, there is a lot of science in it and I love to learn!

Family dog named Ralph, he’s half poodle/bichon and he’s 14!

One hobby/interest is I enjoy taking photos and love learning new recipes.

I have been an Esthetician for over 10 years and love helping patients of all ages feel amazing in their own skin. I believe in taking a long term approach to helping my patients through their skin care journey to achieve all of their skin care goals. My favorite treatment is The Diamond Glow facial. I love seeing the skin look glowing, refreshed, and revitalized. I also love anything where I can do facial massage and lymphatic drainage. Combining the two is something that gives a beautiful boost to the skin that is immediately visible.
I found my passion for aesthetics after becoming a makeup artist. Although I loved makeup I always found myself leaning towards very natural make up. Ultimately I discovered that what I actually loved was seeing a clients beautiful skin, more than the makeup that covered it... and that started my journey into aesthetics.
Previous work experiences include being a flight attendant, also working for a tv show called Red Carpet Bay Area where we featured all things San Francisco . I worked as an associate producer and also styled the host of the show.
My zodiac sign is Libra, which makes sense being that Libras strive for a serene environment and aesthetically pleasing surroundings in all areas of life and home. Libras need to feel balanced and always aim to be fair, weighing both sides of everything. Also, Libras can be a bit indecisive because we're always thinking things over! All in all, I'm a true Libra!
Hobbies- I'm a sports fanatic! I love watching football, basketball, tennis and yes Golf! Nothing is better than a Niner game on Sunday!! In another life I would have loved to have been Erin Andrews!
On the other end of the spectrum, I love helping friends pack and put together outfit options for their vacations or life events. I never get tired of going through their clothing options and help them pick their best "looks" for whatever life event they have coming up! It's my passion!!

How I like to start my morning?
My favorite way to start my morning is by taking a long walk. I love taking the time to think about my day, and see all the cute dogs in my neighborhood!
